Celebrate Earth Day with us on April 30, 2017. Zoo hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (visit until 6 p.m.). Enjoy special keeper talks throughout the day and more than 20 community eco-partner displays from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Zoo admission is just $8.25 per person courtesy of Louisville Gas and Electric Company and Kentucky Utilities Company. Plus parking is FREE in the Zoo lot, first come, first park. Visit LG&E and KU's Mini City display and Louie the Lightning Bug mascot. Come join the fun and learn what you can do to help save our planet!

Celebrate Mother’s Day with free Zoo admission for moms courtesy of McDonald’s® Restaurants of Kentuckiana. Enjoy Zoo keeper talks featuring our animal moms and participate in a fun scavenger hunt. The first 500 Moms receive a FREE goody bag. McDonaldland® characters Birdie, Grimace and Hamburglar will make appearances from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Enjoy a movie under the stars at the wildest theater in town. Watch your favorite movies on our giant inflatable screen. The Zoo Crew will provide free entertainment before the show. Snacks and other refreshments will be available for purchase.

Don’t forget to pack your blanket or lawn chairs.
Movie nights are FREE to Zoo members and only $5 after 5 p.m. for non-members.
